BDO Philippines Chairs Asia-Pacific Regional IT Committee

Tony Cubacub, Information Systems Director of BDO Alba Romeo & Co., CPA’s, was appointed Chairman of the newly formed Asia-Pacific Regional IT Committee during the BDO Asia-Pacific Regional Executive Conference (APREC) recently held in Auckland, New Zealand. The members of the IT Committee come from the BDO Member Firms in India, Japan, Korea, and Pakistan.

The theme of the conference was ‘ BDO NEW HORIZONS’ and in attendance were more than 50 Partners from BDO Global and BDO Member Firms in the Asia Pacific region, including Japan, China, Korea, USA, Australia and New Zealand which hosted the event under the auspices of BDO Spicers.

The mandate of the Regional IT Council is to explore business opportunities in Information Technology that the Member Firms can share to strengthen their competitive edge and provide value-adding services to their clients. The Regional IT Committee gets full support from the BDO Regional Executive Management through Floyd T. Chan, Regional Coordinator based in BDO Hongkong.
